剧情简介

　　战斗中负伤而下身瘫痪的前海军战士杰克•萨利（萨姆•沃辛顿 Sam Worthington 饰）决定替死去的同胞哥哥来到潘多拉星操纵格蕾丝博士（西格妮•韦弗 Sigourney Weaver 饰）用人类基因与当地纳美部族基因结合创造出的 “阿凡达” 混血生物。杰克的目的是打入纳美部落，外交说服他们自愿离开世代居住的家园，从而SecFor公司可砍伐殆尽该地区的原始森林，开采地下昂贵的“不可得”矿。在探索潘多拉星的过程中，杰克遇到了纳美部落的公主娜蒂瑞（佐伊•索尔达娜 Zoe Saldana 饰），向她学习了纳美人的生存技能与对待自然的态度。与此同时，SecFor公司的经理和军方代表上校迈尔斯（史蒂芬•朗 Stephen Lang 饰）逐渐丧失耐心，决定诉诸武力驱赶纳美人……

关于《阿凡达》你应该知道的11件事

1 在制作初期，扮演杰克·萨利的人选曾经考虑过马特·达蒙和杰克·吉伦哈尔，但詹姆斯·卡梅隆最终决定用一名不是太出名的演员，选择了还是新人的萨姆·沃辛顿。

2 虽然在影片里面根本没有说明过故事发生的年份是哪一年，但根据主角杰克·萨利所录制的视频日志里，左下角的时间所显示，故事发生于2154年的5月-8月。

3 根据《纽约时代》的消息，影片成本、宣传等各方面花费了超过5亿美元，其中福克斯的投资为3亿美元，派拉蒙等其他投资商的投资成本为2亿美元。这使得《阿凡达》成为电影史上投资最高的作品。

4 《阿凡达》在筹备期间的片名为《880计划》“Project 880”，最后确定的片名为《阿凡达》（Avatar），片名源自印度佛教用语，意指灵魂被转移至新的躯体里面。

5 在英国，为了防止《阿凡达》在上映之前泄密，电影胶片的运送途中被分为两个部分，代号是“Redbird”。1-5卷先运到英国，等1-5卷胶片到了英国之后，才开始运送剩下的6-10卷。

6 纳威人的语言比较靠近澳大利亚口音，所以来自澳大利亚的萨姆·沃辛顿能够更容易的学会这门没啥人用的原创语言。

7 在北美，《阿凡达》用了32天票房就达到5亿美元，打破了《黑暗骑士》45天的记录。而詹姆斯·卡梅隆上一部故事片《泰坦尼克号》用了98天才达到5亿美元。

8 《阿凡达》是是第一部用3D摄影机拍摄而获得提名奥斯卡最佳影片的作品。

9 纳威人的身体主色调是蓝色，这是因为一个传说的印度宗教里，神的颜色都是以蓝色为主（如湿婆，罗摩，克里希那等），而且还有另一个原因，就是詹姆斯·卡梅隆本人很喜欢蓝色。

10 本片里格雷斯·奥古斯丁博士的角色设定，其实是参考了朱迪·福斯特在银幕内外的形象。有意思的是詹姆斯·卡梅隆在写剧本的时候并没有考虑过让朱迪·福斯特来演这个角色。
